These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Daily Love Notes, including the mobile app, website, and related services (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Service Overview
Daily Love Notes turns affection into a daily ritual. A creator writes a collection of notes, and a receiver unlocks exactly one card every 24 hours. Future cards stay locked until their unlock time.
Roles and Core Rules
Creator
- Creates collections (for example, 30 days / 30 reasons).
- Can customize each card background and visual style.
- Can invite a receiver via link or QR code.
- Cannot edit cards that were already unlocked by the receiver.
Receiver
- Joins through an invite link or QR code.
- Unlocks one card per 24-hour cycle.
- Can read all cards that have already been unlocked.
Accounts and Eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
User Content
You retain ownership of your notes, text, and uploaded media ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display User Content only to operate the Service.
You are responsible for your User Content and must not upload or share unlawful, abusive, harassing, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.
Invites, Access, and Availability
Invite links and QR codes are intended for private use between intended participants. We may invalidate invite access when misuse, abuse, or suspicious activity is detected.
We may modify features, apply limits, perform maintenance, or suspend parts of the Service to keep the platform secure and reliable.
Prohibited Conduct
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to any account or system.
- Do not use the Service to harm, stalk, threaten, or exploit others.
- Do not upload malicious code or interfere with the Service.
- Do not infringe privacy or intellectual property rights.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is handled.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent storage of all content.
Daily Love Notes is a relationship and communication tool. It does not provide therapy, medical advice, or professional counseling.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your jurisdiction.
